With respect to design work completed for clients: ownership of final design deliverables transfers to the client upon receipt of full payment. Until that time, all work produced remains the property of Cori Richards Desing. 4. Design Services

The specific scope, timeline, fees, and deliverables for any design project are governed by a separate client services agreement or proposal signed by both parties. These Terms of Service apply in addition to that agreement. In the event of any conflict, the signed client agreement will control.

 

5. Payment

Fees for design services are outlined in your project proposal or client agreement. General payment terms include:

• A deposit is required before work begins. The deposit amount will be specified in your proposal.

• Final payment is due prior to delivery of final files or project completion.

• Invoices not paid within [30] days of the due date may be subject to a late fee of [1.5%] per month.

• We reserve the right to pause or terminate work on any project with outstanding unpaid invoices.

 

6. Cancellation and Refunds

If you wish to cancel a project, please notify us in writing. The following terms apply:

• Deposits are non-refundable once work has commenced.

• You will be invoiced for all work completed up to the date of cancellation, based on our hourly rate or the proportional value of the project scope completed.

• Any third-party purchases or orders placed on your behalf prior to cancellation are your responsibility.

 

7. Changes to Scope

Any changes to the agreed project scope — including additional rooms, revised design direction, or new deliverables — may affect the timeline and fees. We will provide updated estimates for your approval before proceeding with any out-of-scope work.

 

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law,Cori Richards Design shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from our services or your use of our website. Our total liability for any claim related to a project shall not exceed the total fees paid by you for that project.

 

We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of third-party vendors, contractors, or suppliers recommended or engaged in connection with your project.

 

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cori Richards Design and its principals, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of our website or your breach of these terms.

 

10. Website Accuracy

We make every effort to keep our website accurate and up to date. However, we make no guarantees regarding the completeness or accuracy of any content. Portfolio images are representative of past work and are not a guarantee of specific outcomes for your project.
